Salmon on its own is lovely. But Salmon with this Lemon Butter Sauce is luscious. I worked at Saltwater Seafoods when I was in my teens and stealing this recipe made the third degree oil burns and putrid smell on my skin worth it.
The simplicity is stupid. But once again, no recipe, so just mix to taste.
Oh and another thing. To get the smell of fish out of your skin, wash your hands with salt and lemon juice. It works.
Ingredients
Fish
2 x fish filets, any will do, I use Atlantic Salmon
1/4 cup plain flour
Melted butter
Lemon butter sauce
1 knob of butter, approx. 60g
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup cooking cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Fish
1/ Coat the fish in flour, paste on the melted butter
2/ Put under a hot grill and cook for approx. 10 mins until cooked through
Lemon butter sauce
1/ Melt the butter, add lemon juice and cream
2/ Pour over the fish
Serve with mash potato, green beans, or whatever you fancy
