I would very happily gobble these up for afternoon tea so it's no surprise Harry loves them. They remind me of honey glazed carrots mum used to make us when we were kids. Crispy, sweet and classic, what's not to love?
These are perfect when you are out and about with your kids and need a to buy a few more minutes.
Ingredients
1 carrot, peeled and cut into 5mm thick rounds
1 tbs butter, melted
1 tbs honey
Method
1/ Preheat your oven to 180oC
2/ Combine the butter and honey in a bowl
3/ Lay the carrot chips on the baking paper. Drizzle the honey mixture over the top
4/ Bake chips for 5 minutes, turn, bak for a further 5 minutes or until golden
(I left mine in a minute too long in this pic, go for golden not black - ha)

I know the recipe is only for one carrot but if you made a bunch do you think they would last? If so, how many days and in what condition (fridge or counter)?
ReplyDeleteHi Kristy, they might not stay as crispy but should be fine in an airtight container on the counter for a few days. Hope that helps, Ax
