baby & toddler finger food: potato and ham pasta

Harry and his pasta addiction continues, so I keep coming up with more and more different ways to serve it. It's funny, he won't eat penne pasta, but will happily eat an adult serve of spirals. Strange creature.

Ingredients
(makes 2 serves)

1 tbs olive oil
1 small potato, peeled, diced
1 slice ham, finely sliced
1/4 cup tomato, finely diced
3 tbs frozen peas
4 tbs water
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup pasta spirals

Method

1/ Bring 2 cups of water to the boil in a medium saucepan. Add pasta and potato and cook until soft

2/ Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium, add the tomato, ham, peas, water and sauté for a few minutes

3/ Lower the heat. Add the cooked pasta, potato and stir through the cheese. Once melted remove from heat

4/ Allow to cool just enough so the cheese binds the mixture together slightly. You can then mash and spoon feed for younger babies or let the older ones feed themselves
